Friend of Earth Fare

Earth Fare, in partnership with its customers, gives thousands of dollars annually to small local non-profits through their Friends of Earth Fare Program.

Each month, they select an organization to be their Friend of Earth Fare. For the month of November, they've selected the Hunger and Health Coalition! This Friend then becomes the beneficiary of their award-winning bag recycling program.

The way it works is simple: each time a customer remembers to bring in a bag to reuse for groceries instead of taking another paper or plastic one, Earth Fare donates 10¢ for each bag to the Hunger and Health Coalition. Not only does this help everyone conserve non-renewable resources used in the production of both paper and plastic bags, it helps immediately impact the health of our community.
