What we are about...

A lack of access to adequate food and nutrition is a prevalent problem in our community. Though sometimes hidden, hundreds of families struggle to put food on the table every month. Often, adults in the home skip meals, reduce the amount of food eaten, or settle for foods that are filling but have little or no nutritious value. Rising food and fuel prices have made this struggle a reality for a growing number of families in our area. The Hunger and Health Coalition is proud to offer a variety of food assistance programs to those in need to help them survive the crisis and find a better way.

Food of the Month!

January 2010 Food of the Month is: Cereal - Both cold and hot cereals, grits, oatmeal, etc.

Although the Food of the month is used to encourage groups to support the Food Pantry, The Hunger and Health Coalition will take ANY FOOD DONATION at ANYTIME to help feed the hungry of our community.
